Release the Fox Mountain Mexican grey wolf mother back to her pack.

Critical update 10/21/2013 on the lobos 3 more are under a capture order

Act Now! With only 75 Mexican wolves in the wild, USFWS has ordered trapping of 3 critically endangered lobos accused of livestock depredations! Please help stop the alphas of the Paradise Pack and a Fox Mountain Pack male being taken from their families and forced to spend the remainder of their lives in captivity.

I feel this is important to address removing these wolves from their packs is detrimental to the well being of these packs. Especially the Alpha pair from the Paradise pack. It is with saddness I am reminded of the Fox Mountain mother removed from her pups and pack in 2012.
 From mans perspective they believe removing the alpha pair will disrupt the unwanted behaviour in truth it may cause more stress on an already fragile population of Mexican Grey wolves. The pack may disband and young pups that rely on the guidance and protection of the pack will be lost, putting them at risk for increased depredations. They do not kill to spite man or because the'yre a nuisance they do it to survive. When a rancher doesnt take the preventative measures to protect his livestock should the wolf pay a life sentence.. or a death sentence?

The Mexican Grey Wolves also known as the Lobos are severely threatened with only about 60 in 2012 wolves in the wild thats it!!
  Wolves should  be free and wild, not caged and incarcerated or hunted relentlessly. Although I would like to address the wolf situation as a whole and plain and simple want the War on Wolves to end.. this petition is to get the support to free the Fox Mountain  mother, and prevent the capture of the Paradise Pack alphas and Fox mountain male. Leave them in the wild where they belong running free.

We think were doing a justice to these wolves and trying to rehabilitate them in a wildlife haven the trapping process in itself is very stressful and can injure and even kill a wolf.  Please help to save these wolves.

 

The wolf mother  should not have been captured and taken away from her pack with her being one of

 only 6 breeding females in the wild 

  Removing her from her pack is highly unethical and is detrimental to the Mexican Grey wolves recovery. Her pups and pack need her

 Whether there was livestock depredation it  occured withen the lobos territory, and this mother was killing to feed her family, her pack.. No more no less to survive and ensure her packs survival.

 It is the responsibility of the ranchers to be aware of the wolves territory and learn to live with the fact there are wolves and  just as with the Wedge Pack in WA was eliminated because of livestock depredation.  This female lobo too was targeted but thanks to the  public speaking out for her she was spared her life  yet now lives locked up away from her pack and pups.
 
  The problem here is not the wolves its the ranchers vs wolf epidemic. and of course politics and money are a main reason we all know that. A few livestock go missing and are found dead and immediatly the wolves are facing a death sentence.

 Many of these ranchers are compensated for depredations and I feel that there has been some discrepcencies with these livestock depredation occurances.

 For an example two of the supposed livestock deaths  were found in the lobo's territory and  upon examination were soo decomposed that determining if they were indeed a wolf depredation would be unsuccessful. regardless if they were a depredation the wolf is only being a wolf if the carcass was on lobo territory sooo what!!! It is the ranchers responsibility and its the same story rancher vs wolf over and over we hear the story... Well im tired of the wolves  being either killed or imprisoned.

These ranchers think they are entitled to all the land  the Dept of Interior Ken Salazar, let it be known he is a rancher who is  biased and his decisions to delist wolves and approve of such hunting like in WY is not supported by scientifically sound management, to ensure the long term recovery effort of the wolves Grey and Mexican Greys,  he is simply  anti-wolf and is abusing his power.
 
 I just ask Congress and U.S Wildlife Services return this mother wolf and  ranchers attempt be in cooperation with wildlife conservations and let them help with non lethal deterants suggestions, better protection for livestock either coexist  or move your livestock. Or another alternative relocate the wolves to an area where there is no threat of man, or livestock conflict. 

Release the Mexican grey wolf mother let her run with her pack wild and free.
