A new tracking technology will be implemented in Victoria's greyhound racing communities in order to protect dogs from being illegally exported or euthanised. While any piece of legislation that protects greyhounds is a good one, this simply is not enough.

Greyhound racing is synonymous with abuse. It is time for the toxic tradition to be banned altogether!

Sign now to tell Daniel Andrews, Gayle Tierney, and Anthony Carbines: work together to finally end greyhound racing for good!

The life of a racing greyhound is filled with misery. The dogs are bred to be fast, so puppies that are born and deemed "unfit" to race are culled or sold off into horrific circumstances. The dogs that do survive to become races can be kenneled for 23 hours a day, and muzzled continuously rather than trained.

In some cases, two dogs will be kept in a single cage, fighting and injuring one another because of their emotional distress as well as the physical toll of being crammed together. As soon as a greyhound is no longer profitable, it is simply disposed of.

No technology can fully protect any greyhound from the horrors of racing. Sign now to tell Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews, Minister for Agriculture Gayle Tierney, and Minister for Racing Anthony Carbines: bring greyhound racing to an end!
