State of Emergency on Trauma

African Americans are impacted by PTSD at a higher rate than any other community yet they are the most unaware and untreated. Black and Brown babies are suffering from PTSD and trauma symptoms but are being misdiagnosed and incorrectly medicated. We are asking for a legislators to make Ohio the first state to execute a State of Emergency on Trauma. We're asking for more funding for treatment and research, including and not limited to, holistic treatments. Help us heal and begin to build stronger communities and support our initiative for a State of Emergency on Trauma.
