REQUEST MAX PENALTY IN DOG SLAYING CASE (Las Vegas, NV)
UPDATE: This week, defendant Jeremy Espiritu was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment followed by 5 years probation. As a condition, if he violates his probation he will face up to 4 years imprisonment. Thank you for taking action!
"LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 22-year-old Las Vegas man who told police he slashed the throat of the family dog because he liked to hurt animals is taking a plea deal that could get him probation or up to four years in prison."
