Increase the Punishment for Bald Eagle Poaching!

The Bald Eagle population has been going up and down over the decades, and now they have officially made off the endangered species list, but the are still in danger. Many poachers go unpunished for their crimes, of either poaching eagles or other protected animals. This petition is to help raise the penalty of poaching in the U.S. The current penalty for killing, keeping, or disturbing an eagles nest (active or inactive) is $250,000 or 2 years in jail (penalty is doubled for an organization). I say we should make it $300,000 and 5 years in jail. If people see that the punishment is so great, they will think, "No way is poaching worth 5 years in jail!"
