Tell LUSH to stop supporting animal exploitation!

Lush is known for "Fighting Animal Cruelty" because of their products being "cruelty-free" (not tested on animals), as well as their multiple campaigns to help animals - such as their anti-shark-finning campaign.

What their company doesn't seem to understand is that the products they sell containing cows' milk, chickens' eggs, and/or honey are products of cruelty to animals. I cannot continue to shop at Lush until they stop supporting the animal agriculture industry. If they can make some of their cosmetic products vegan, they can make all of them vegan. This change wouldn't hurt anyone, it would save lives!

Dairy cows undergo body mutilations, and they are artificially inseminated using "rape racks". Their babies are taken away so that humans can take their milk. Bees are also harmed in the process of honey production, and as you can find through some quick research both of these products are very harmful to the environment. Chickens in the egg industry have their reproductive systems manipulated so they will produce many more eggs than they naturally would, and they are not able to eat their eggs as they may naturally do to replenish lost nutrients. Their male chicks are killed when they are less than a few days old because they are seen as useless to the industry.

It doesn't matter if these products are organic; it doesn't matter if they're free range, these animals still do not want to die or be used for a profit. It doesn't matter if the products are "fair-trade", because that term only considers humans for their moral standards.

Tell LUSH to go 100% cruelty-free!!

Lush is known for "Fighting Animal Cruelty" because of their products being "cruelty-free" (not tested on animals), as well as their multiple campaigns to help animals - such as their anti-shark-finning campaign. Thank you for your campaigns, and your commitment to all vegetarian products that are not tested on animals.

However, what is conflicting with those ethics is your use of animal products - namely cows' milk, chickens' eggs, and honey.
These are products of cruelty to animals. I cannot continue to shop at Lush until the company stops supporting the animal agriculture industry.

Please go 100% cruelty-free!
