Massive industrialisation by BP,Shell, Chevron, BHP Billiton, Woodside, Conoco Phillips and many others - coal, gas, oil, copper, bauxite, alumina and uranium - the Kimberley will be destroyed. All being done now behind closed doors. Politicians not listening. Destructive oil, gas and mining companies lining up to destroy one of the rarest environments on Earth today and every living marine and land creature will fight to survive. The people of the Kimberley need us now. Please help us tell these politicians The Kimberley is NOT FOR SALE. The Kimberley coastal ecosystems, the least human-impacted in the world, comparable only to areas like the arctic and Antarctic coasts, must be saved. Pls sign petition, share, post everywhere. Pass on to every person or group who is committed to saving, protecting, conserving, respecting and living in harmony with nature. We must protect our magnificent whales, turtles, dolphins, seals, whalesharks and coral reefs or they will not survive and most importantly ensure a healthy future and lifestyle for the people of the Kimberley. Together we can make this happen.

THE LAST WILDERNESS - HOME TO THE MAGNIFICENT HUMPBACK WHALES
The Kimberley region of northern Western Australia is one of the world's last great wilderness regions whose coast and adjacent waters are among the most pristine on the planet. This magnificent region is recognised nationally and internationally as one of the world's last great unspoiled marine, coastal and terrestrial environments and every winter The Kimberley becomes a nursery for the largest population of Humpback Whales in the world.
Now The Kimberley region is under grave threat of massive destruction from multi-national mining, oil and gas companies.
Say NO to industrialisation of The Kimberley. Urge protection of this magnificent marine environment and ensure the survival of the Humpback Whales.
The Kimberley is NOT FOR SALE.
The Kimberley raises your spirits, touches your heart and reaches into your soul.
At the end of your stay you will be asked to simply take home your memories and sensational photos, make a promise to return or send back the next generation of stewards and Carers and simply leave your footprints in the sand.
The Kimberley is a place to simply BE.
Please help us SAVE THE KIMBERLEY and the HUMPBACK WHALES - urgent action needed now.

We the undersigned urge the State and Commonwealth governments to immediately rule out all oil, gas and mining development on the Kimberley coast and establish large marine sanctuary zones to protect the globally significant marine biodiversity in this entire region.
The Kimberley coast is one of the world's last great unspoiled marine environments - nursery for the world's largest population of Humpback whales; home to a coral reef network of global significance and refuge for a wide range of endemic and endangered species.
Scientists the world over agree that marine parks are the single most effective way of improving ecosystem health, climate change resilience and protecting biodiversity in the marine environment. These parks will also ensure the protection and survival of the Humpback whales. The Antarctic is their feeding grounds - The Kimberley is their home.
There are other viable alternatives and many of these sites are in existence and in operation now, but the mining, oil and gas companies have indicated these will cost them more money and reduce their massive profits. This attitude and decision making is irresponsible, outrageous, unconscionable and totally unacceptable.
It must be remembered that in 1970s Australia said NO to oil and gas mining on the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is an Australian icon and contributes well in excess of $5 billion per year to the Australian economy via sustainable industries such as tourism and managed fisheries. The Kimberley marine environment is equally special and valuable.
We thank you for taking the time to read our letter and ask you to act now to Save The Kimberley.
We are the stewards of the earth and in life we sometimes only get one chance to make the right decision. We urge you to protect and preserve all The Kimberley now for All in perpetuity before it is too late.
The Kimberley is NOT FOR SALE.
