5 pence plastic bag tax in England drops plastic bag use by 92%

In 2014, In England 7.6 BILLION plastic bags were handed out by major supermarkets
Since the 5p tax ( in the first six months) there has been a drop to 640 million bags been given out
If this trend continues, After 12 month there will be 6 billion less plastic bags given out
92% drop in use
Helps the environment
Will reduce animal cruelty
Saying NO to plastic bags is easier than you think
