Remove officer Derek Wicklund from the Green Bay Police Department

Officer Wicklund violated Wisconsin Statute 940.19, as evidenced by the recently posted and widely circulated internet video in which he grabbed and beat on a citizen for no apparent reason. This video has received over 170,000 views and has humiliated our community on a national level.

The officer acted out of rage and has not demonstrated the level of self-control and personal restraint which we as a community consider to be acceptable for our armed police.

Officer Wicklund violated his oath, and has shamed his department and the community he has sworn to protect. For this, we demand his immediate removal from the Green Bay Police Department.
