Stop the killing!

Malta is notorious for the killing of protected birds. The government seems to be powerless against the hunters lobby. The minister for animal welfare himself a hunter wants to lower fines on illegalities. The EU commissioner on Birds and Fisheries is Maltese and possibly surrounded by hunters within his family and friends. Over 15 protected birds have been shot and killed in so many days, Herons, Buzzards, Bee-eaters and even Flamingoes. It must stop!
