Demand a Resolution to RTS Homes Pine Ridge Development Lot Drainage Issues

Many residents of Pine Ridge Development in homes built by RTS Homes are experiencing lot drainage issues whereby lot elevation and inappropriate grading appear to be an issue. Many lot elevations are lower than the adjacent sidewalk and curb which prohibits water drainage into the street and away from the homes causing mushy swamp like conditions in the yards. Although this issue has been brought to the attention of RTS Homes, they merely explain that as long as the water is gone in 24 hours after rainfall or more than ten feet from the homes, it is not their issue. However, continued rainfall sitting in the yards makes them permanently squishy and swamp like. I propose that city representatives, city engineers and Fort Stewart Command be petitioned to evaluate and provide solutions and hold RTS Homes accountable for the wet conditions, by appropriately grading lots or possibly by cutting drains through the sidewalks and curb allowing water to appropriately drain from the lots.
