Support the anti-fracking protests at Kirbymisperton !!

We the undersigned oppose fracking in the UK and specifically in Ryedale, North Yorkshire. We recognise the importance of farming and tourism in the area and the detrimental effect that fracking would have both on the local population and on visitors. Given the decision of North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) to allow fracking despite the overwhelming opposition from local residents, we actively support the peaceful demonstrations and non-violent direct actions currently taking place at KM8. We call upon NYCC to listen to local people and reverse their decision to allow fracking as soon as possible.
