Danny Boyle, our friendly smiley postman has served the Petts Wood community for over 20 years, but he is being transferred to Green St Green from 19th January, 2015. Another senior postman plans to take his patch despite Danny's appeals to stay. He has brightened our day in his all-weather shorts, seen our children grow up and kept an eye on the elderly. We, the people of Petts Wood call on the Post Office to reconsider relocating Danny Boyle in January next year. He has been an integral part of our community for over 20 years and we all know and trust him and value his friendship. He has watched our children grow and always finds time for the elderly, enhancing our sense of neighbourhood. This is an important matter to us and we hope that you will listen to strong opinion of your customers.
