Stop the Abuse of Macaque Monkeys in Indonesia

Patty Shenker and others who are concerned with the abuse of the macaque monkeys and the beggar children in the streets of Jakarta and elsewhere.These primates deserve protection from cruelty (they have absolutely no protection at present) and from being made to wear clothes and masks and beg for money. Also, these poor children should be in school and not in the streets holding the chains of these abused monkeys. It is a disgrace to civilized people to see this all over Jakarta and we urge your government to put a stop to this and to take care of both the children and the monkeys!
