Please sign this petition to request that an investigation is conducted and/or Judge Tomika H. Irving recuse herself or be removed from the case: 

Jurayah Smith was killed in the care of her stepmother, T'Kia Bevily and her father, Morris Bevily. She was with the Bevily's for an unscheduled visit to visit her Grandmother on her death bed. While in their care Jurayah Smith sustained blunt force trauma to her head that killed her within minutes of being beaten. Jurayah's killers were charged with Capital Murder but are somehow walking free on bond today, awaiting trial which is very questionable. 

T'Kia Bevily was found guilty of Capital Murder in February 2021.  This month, due to alleged jury misconduct T'Kia was granted a retrial and released. Shortly after, evidence was sent to the victims family indicating that there is a connection between the family of Judge Tomika H. Irving who presides over the case and the Defendants. It was revealed that their fathers co-pastor a church. The relationship was not revealed to the victims family before the case was tried and there is evidence that the judge has made biased decisions in the case.
