BRING BACK SUN CHIPS BIODEGRADABLE BAG!!!

About a week ago I was watching one of my favorite shows, Real Time with Bill Maher. Not only does Bill Maher make me laugh so hard I cry but he has recently inspired me to find out exactly why our country can be so juvenile.
Sun Chips recently came out with their 100% Compost-able bag, made of polylactic acid and a corn-based biopolymer that only takes about three months to decompose in a landfill. Sounds pretty great doesn't it?! You can have our snack and save the planet one bag at a time! But wait! There is a catch. Because this bag is 100% biodegradable, it is one ridiculously noisy bag.
So, as the story goes, Canada kept the noisy bag while the United Sates division of Frito-Lay pulled this bag from the shelves to no longer be sold in our stores. Let me repeat: THIS BIODEGRADABLE BAG WAS TAKEN OFF THE SHELVES, ONLY TO BE REPLACED BY THE OLD BAG (which will do no good for our environment), FOR ALL THE SPOILED ROTTEN CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY!!!
Please prove that you are not one of the spoiled children of America and sign this petition. I am pretty sure any of us could suffer a little loud noise before making the ultimate sacrifice and pouring the chips into a bowl, as Bill Maher says. If the Canadian's can do it, we can!!!
