Stop killing bears in Italy!

After a couple of incidents with bear encounters in Italy, the local government has decided to kill for the sake of safety!

It was the country (region) who got money from the EU in the first place to "bring back" bears (as well as wolves) to the mountain regions where they were once at home.

The money has been spent ... the bear population has established itself and are now disliked by the hunter's and politicians, particularly in the region of Trentino.
Even though other countries like Romania, Germany and Bulgaria (where strangely enough people live in age-long coexistence with bears and wolves) offered their help to shelter some "Trentino bears" in their countries and national parks, the killing continues!

Mainly supported and sanctioned by Maurizio Fugatti, the great expert of "problem bears" who is president of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
His high school education is agricultural engineer, with a specialization in wine making!
The undergraduate degree in Political Sciences from the University of Bologna did obviously not help his decision making when it comes to environmental stability, development of nature-friendly tourism and proper protection of the region and it's visitors.
Simple warning signs and instructions for hikers, as to be found in the various state parks in USA and Canada would already be as successful as they are in many of these countries.

Trentino, with its cities of art, mountains, lives and breathes tourism,
The measures of support that the Province has adopted to attract tourists and ensure there is a summer season, must change.
The killing of bears (and wolves in many parts of Italy) is NOT the right way and MUST STOP!
The decisions of Mr. Fugatti will turn many visitors off from visiting this otherwise beautiful region.
