Abolish bullfighting in Yucatan, Mexico!

I recently moved to the beautiful city of Merida in the State of Yucatan. To my great dissapointment I found out that they host corrida bull fights in this city in the building called Coloseum. I was very heartbroken, so I started this petition.
I need your help to abolish bullfighting in this wonderful city and the whole state, so the beauty of it can be admired without the tarnishing image of animal cruelty.
I know that the people of this land are compassionate and good hearted and we all would love to live in Merida that is free of cruelty and greed.
So please join me in asking the government of Yucatan, to abolish bullfighting, as it has happened already in 3 other Mexican states.
