Starving Dogs is NOT Art

In 2007, Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, a so called artist, took an abandoned dog from the streets, tied him to a very short rope to a wall in an art gallery, and left a kettle of food on the other side of the room, beyond his reach, and left him there to slowly die of hunger and thirst.

The so-called artist of such cruelty and the visitors of the gallery of art watched the agony of this animal. The dog finally died of famine, surely after a painful, absurd and incomprehensible torture.

The prestigious Centralamerican Biennial of Art decided that this horrible act committed by this guy was art, and Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel actions in said Biennial in 2008.

The dog was named Natividad. I have heard both that the dog is dead and that the dog is not dead. Either way it is cruel in my eyes and cruel towards a starving dog. The thing that hurts me most is that the people in the gallery would actually just walk by the dog without thinking about setting it free. No starving dog should be put on public display for the amusement of others. Yes its sick, cruel, gross, and horrible.

Please sign below to try to get this around everywhere to hopefully get around to some important people to get this stopped. Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has as it says above been invited to repeat his cruel actions in said Biennial in 2008.

I have no idea if this is still going on, but I have found this somewhere and thought people should know about this. Sign the petition below to get this stopped if it is still going on.
