Demand end of backyard breeding

Backyard breeding is a harmful practice that prioritizes profit or convenience over the well-being of animals, often leading to poor living conditions, inadequate veterinary care, and genetic health issues in the animals bred. This irresponsible breeding contributes to the overpopulation crisis, as many of these animals end up in shelters when owners cannot care for them or when they develop health or behavioral problems. Shelters, already overwhelmed with abandoned and homeless animals, face increased strain, leading to higher euthanasia rates for lack of space and resources. By stopping backyard breeding, we can reduce the number of animals entering shelters, improve animal welfare, and encourage responsible pet ownership through adoption and ethical breeding practices.
