I am creating this petition today to ask you all to help me end this horror.
Animals in the circus are tortured both physically and pschologically their whole lives. Some are taken from the wild, forcibly separated from their family. Others are bred specifically for the purpose of using the babies in the circus. The mothers are often bred too young, and live in horrible conditions, very much like a puppy mill. Many babies are taken from their mothers young, to begin their `training.`
I appeal to all the mothers who read this to imagine your baby being forcibly taken away, and subjected to torture. That is how these mothers feel . We cant even begin to imagine what the baby feels, separated from the comforting presence of their mother, and put in the care of people who view tham as a dispensable moneymaker.
The animal`s `training` or `breaking` is just another word for torture. Common instruments are ropes, chains, whips, bullhooks ( a fireplace poker-like object), and electric prods.
If you want to help stop this torture, never go to a circus, and spread the word to others.
