Fight for Desperate Polar Bears

For polar bears and their cubs in Alaska facing record low ice this summer in response to warming temperatures, swimming long distances to the remaining ice to hunt for seals is becoming more and more deadly.

The stakes are high for polar bears in this year's elections. Some candidates are running for office with plans to oppose limits on the carbon pollution fueling global warming--and to undermine clean energy.
