This pit bull was found hogtied and left to die in a field near Lamont, CA. The person who left the animal, Mr. James Worley, has been arrested and is awaiting prosecution. We are asking the District Attorney's office to prosecute this case to the full extent of the law.
Please help get the message out that Kern County should not tolerate animal abusers. The perpetrators of these crimes need to be prosecuted fully. We must ensure that these crimes are taken seriously by our DA's office.

On behalf of the pit bull hogtied and left to die, would ask that you prosecute Mr. James Worley to the full extent possible. Mr. Worley clearly intended for this animal to suffer. These type of crimes should be taken seriously as there is strong evidence linking animal abuse to abuse of people.
As a community we must not allow this crime to be dismissed with simply a slap on the hand. This only sends a message that certain behaviors will be tolerated and can lead to escalated violence against other innocent victims. We would ask that you send a message to others who would intentionally harm some of our most innocent residents by assuring that this case is handled appropriately by your office.
