AS SELLERS ON EBAY - WE HAVE SEEN THE CHANGES EBAY HAS HAD FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS.  WHERE ORIGINALLY - EBAYS GOAL WAS TO PROVIDE A SAFE - GROWING MARKETPLACE AND TO SUPPORT GROWTH - AS THEY HAVE REACHED A PEAK - INSTEAD OF FOCUSSING ON MARKETTING THEIR SITE AND COMPETING WITH AMAZON, YAHOO, GOOGLE AND SUCH - THEY HAVE TURNED THE RESPONSIBILITY ON THE SELLERS.

WE STOOD BY SEVERAL MONTHS BACK AS EBAY RAISED THEIR FEE'S INCLUDING LISTING AND FINAL VALUE FEES - LOWERING OUR PROFITS - YET STILL EXPECTING HIGHER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

FAIRNESS ON THE SITE HAS BEEN ABANADONED - WE THE SELLERS WILL UNITE TO STAND FOR JUSTICE - WHETHER IT RELATES TO FILING CLASS ACTION AGAINST EBAY, EXPOSING THEIR PRACTICES ON NEWS, MEDIA, AND MANY OTHER CHANNELS TO ENSURE EBAY REPAYS THE COSTS OF DAMAGES THEY ARE CAUSING TO THEIR SELLERS

EBAY HAS IN PLACE POLICIES RESTRICTING AND CLOSING SELLERS IF OVER 5% OF BUYERS LEAVE NEGATIVE, NEUTRAL, OR FILED DISPUTES.  FURTHERMORE NOW THEY ARE OVERREACHING - STOPPING SELLERS FROM LEAVING ANYTHING BUT POSITIVE FEEDBACK, AND NO LONGER PERMITTING MUTUAL FEEDBACK WITHDRAW OR MEDIATION THROUGH CHANNELS SUCH AS SQUARETRADE.

    • IF ALL SELLERS ARE PAYING THE SAME AMOUNT FOR LISTING FEE'S - SELLERS VISIBILITY ON THE SITE SHOULD BE EQUITABLE.
    • SINCE SCAMMERS OPEN NEW ACCOUNTS - WITH NO RESTRICTIONS / LIMITATIONS - THEY HAVE THE HIGHEST "DSR" ON THE SEARCH - AND ELIMINATING THE POWERSELLERS FROM HAVING THEIR PRODUCTS SEEN - DAMAGING THE POWERSELLERS AND THE BUYERS WHO GET SCAMMED.
  • IF EBAY'S GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION - THEY COULD HAVE LOOKED INTERNALLY TO SQUARETRADES "WARRANTY" - WHICH 9/10 TIMES JUST TURNS AWAY THE CLIENT WHO MAKES A CLAIM AND JUST REFUNDS THE BUYER THEIR WARRANTY FEES
NOW ITS TIME TO SHOW EBAY THE POWER OF OUR VOICE

EBAY COULD HAVE INSTEAD OF PLACING ALL THE PRESSURES ON THE SELLER, USED A FEW PERCENT OF THEIR PROFIT IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND ASSISTING ANY TRANSACTIONS THAT HAVE ISSUES - SIMILAR TO HOW OTHER SITES SUCH AS PRICEGRABBER, AMAZON, AND OVERSTOCK OPERATE - HENCE EBAY ITSELF ENSURING CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND ELIMINATING BUYER / SELLER'S ABILITY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITE AND OF THE FEEDBACK SYSTEM'S INTEGRITY.

We, the undersigned look to show ebay that the sellers do represent a common interest of fairness in the marketplace. 

We demand that the New Feedback policies which eBay has placed be immediately removed and that ebay allows sellers to leave feedback as the seller feels appropriate - and more importantly that feedback withdrawl is allowed once again.

We demand that the SNPP (SELLERS NON PERFORMANCE POLICY) be removed from ebay and that powersellers are rewarded with the benefits that they are currently receiving.
