What is Child Labour?
Child labour refers to the employment of children in any work that deprives children of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular school, and that is mentally and physically dangerous and harmful.

The reasons for us to protest against child labour are many but we would like to highlight the major issues. These are some of the cons
- Children workers often have extremely difficult working conditions
-very long work duration (from 12 to 16 hours a day)
-no chance to go to school
-children work for very low wages
- injuries from machinery, health problems from chemical poisonings, and no access to drinking water
-abuse from their employers
Just imagine yourself in their situation. Personally I have enjoyed my childhood playing, enjoying with my families and friends. It's like a nightmare when I think about these kids being abused as child labourers. This chart describes where child labour is found maniy in
In 2004 about 250 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 were working in jobs that ranged from farming to factory work to prostitution.
