Petition to Proclaim Sandhill Cranes as Official City Bird & Name City a SH Crane Sanctuary

Sandhill Cranes are a threatened species in Florida, With increases in new housing and traffic, additional threats are being created by people. We, the citizens listed below would like to create more awareness in our City for our appreciation of these beautiful birds and their protection. We are asking the City of Lake to name the Sandhhill Crane as our Official Bird and to take the necessary steps to create a Sanctuary for these birds.
