The suspect allegedly punched the dog in the head multiple times and even kicked it brutally in its stomach. By the time the dog received veterinary care, it had inflammation and bruising on both of its eyes, likely from an infection and the awful blunt force trauma it endured.

When officers got to the scene, the dog was clearly traumatized. Authorities said that the dog was shaking non-stop, had redness all over the white of its eyes, and continued to "put its paw up in fear of being struck." If a person is able to do this to an animal, they need counseling.
