Justice for Kristen Salem

Kristen Salem was born on July 7th 1997, to Amber Salem & Shawn Grell of Arizona. On December 2nd 1999 when Kristen was only 2 years old, Shawn pulled her out of darecare without permission & took her out to eat McDonalds & to see Christmas lights.
When little Kristen started to cry for her mommy, Amber, Shawn got angry & slapped her in the mouth. A few minutes later, Kristen says to Shawn. "I'm sorry Daddy." But then she started to cry again a little later until she fell asleep.
Then Shawn bought gasoline & took his daughter out a backroad. When he found a ditch, he pulled the car over & woke Kristen up, saying. "Kristen, Mommy's here." and laid her in the ditch. Kristen yelled "No, daddy, no!"
Shawn then poured gasoline all over Kristen & set her on fire.
Kristen stood up & stumbled around as the fire reached her face then she started to turn in circles. :'(
The fire was so hot it melted the barrette in her hair. Kristen fell face-first & parished. She had burns on 98% of her body.
Shawn watched his only child die in complete agony. He then left, but then came back to check on her & just stared at her burnt body.
He tells people close by, someone burned a dog & that they were cruel for doing it.
Shawn was arrested later that evening for public intoxication. He did not mention Kristen but joked with the police about other things.
Shawn ended up turning himself in as he was overwhelmed with what he had done.
He was sentenced to death twice, by a Arizona judge & later jury.
We the people, have become concerned as to why the proven gulity as charged has not been put to death. As he has been sentenced to die by lethal injection twice by the Arizona Courts and Jury. Recent news disturbs us as we hear he has been granted a lesser charge of LIFE in Prison.
 We feel he should not be granted this appeal.
Shawn Grell was sentenced to death before the law which forbades the"mentally retarded" eligibility for Capital Punishment.
Shawn Grell was sentenced to death after the law was passed.
We do not feel Shawn is mentally retarded in the matter of knowing right from wrong.
 He has admitted his guilt.
 The defendent premeditated the murder of his two year old daughter Kristen Salem.
 He took Kristen's life with gasoline and fire.
 Shawn Grell had no mercy or love for a child he tortured.
 Mr. Grell has had a criminal past & there are true articles stating he tortured animals.
He has shown his true personality in the aspect of darkness and evil.
 Amber Salem started a petition for Justice to prevail. The petition she calls ~ Justice for Baby Kristen~
She is heart-broken and upset over the fact she has been waiting for more than 13 years for Kristen's justice, only to have it taken away, right before Kristen's 16th birthday.
Amber Salem passes away on Mother's Day, May 19th 2013 in her sleep.
 Kristen and Amber are reunited, but Amber leaves 3 children behind.
 Now, it's Shawn's turn to take his journey.
 We demand he be sentenced to what he was first given on July 9th 2001, just 2 days after Kristen's 4th Birthday. The Maricopa County Superior Court decided the Death Sentence.
 We demand he be sentenced to what he was given again in 2009, by a Mesa jury. The Death Sentence.
We feel Shawn Grell of Arizona should be put back on Death Row and let this be over with.
 We demand Justice for Kristen Salem.
