Atrium security and Lincolnton Sheriff assault patient

An assault was taken place at the Lincolnton hospital a sheriff and the security guards assaulted a 16-year-old boy who was there to get a mental evaluation and treatment. The Lincoln Sheriff Department released a statement agreeing with then actions that was done to the teen. This is not okay and should not be praised in anyway. I am disgusted with our Sheriff department and the security team at Atrium Emergency Room in Lincolnton. Someone needs to be fired or given punishment with their duty to protect others. Instead of escalating the situation they should have tried to help the teen understand that everything will be okay. Violence is not always the answer.
