Don’t demolish Macquarie Ice Rink!

Macquarie Ice Rink is an extremely important sporting venue, an established leisure activity that generations of Sydney-siders have enjoyed and one of the very few of it's kind, arguably the best in Australia and should not be closed down.

Do we really want fewer locations that keep our children active all year round? for sporting venues like this to be demolished to make way for more consumerism...No. Home to two Hockey teams with a huge fan base, this decision just doesn't make sense. This would be a huge cultural, sporting loss for the local community
