The House Oversight Committee, led by right-wing MAGA extremist James Comer, has spent this entire Congress abusing the power of his committee to chase down right-wing conspiracies and support the Trump campaign any way he can. Now he's intent on doing so again, by opening up yet another scurrilous and wasteful investigation into Vice-President Harris over "the border."
Comer has subpoenaed the Customs and Border Patrol, demanding they turn over all correspondence with the vice president's office, even though they handle the day-to-day busywork of handling immigrants at the borders and not the root causes of immigration, which Comer admits the Vice-President was focusing on.
Demand Comer stop wasting time on these ridiculous "investigations" and get back to work!
Comer wrote in his letter that it was "unclear what actions, if any, Vice President Harris has taken to fix the border crisis," failing to mention that it was Republicans who blocked a bipartisan bill designed specifically to address the influx of immigrants simply because it would have taken away their ability to complain about immigration and smear the Biden-Harris team.
The right-wing media machine has been obsessing over the false assertion that Vice-President Harris was the "border czar" and promoting the absurd notion that somehow is personally responsible for the decades of destabilizing US foreign policy and economic upheaval that drive the movement of people from South America to find a new start in America.
This is just another preposterous witch-hunt and a disgraceful waste of US taxpayer money.
