Republicans gutted train safety rules during the Trump administration, including requirements for emergency braking, and we saw the results with the recent disaster in East Palestine, Ohio.

Trump's foolishness not only likely helped cause that catastrophe, it has set us up for future disasters yet to come.

Trump needs to be held accountable. The least he can do is apologize to the people of East Palestine.
