The Trump administration has arrested Jeanette Vizguerra, an immigration activist who was forced to hide in a church to avoid deportation during the first Trump administration.
A powerful voice for undocumented Americans, Vizguerra has been working to gain citizenship ever since she came to the USA without proper documentation in 1997. A mother to American citizens and an employee at Target. She was stopped for driving without a license in 2009 but is far cry from the "criminals" that the Trump admin claims their deportation raids are targeting; she is a pillar of her community and a voice for the voiceless.

Jeanette Vizguerra is a mother of U.S. citizens. She works at Target. She's the founder of a local non-profit. This is the great lie of the Trump Administration. This is not about safety. This is about political theater and political retribution. This doesn't make this country safer.
