Every year in Taiji, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, hundreds of dolphins are herded into a cove and slaughtered one by one until the water of the cove is entirely blood-red. Some are kept alive and sold to aquariums, the rest become meat. The government defends the practice as a "cultural tradition" although the practice started in 1969. The government of Japan should be petitioned to stop this barbaric "Bay of Blood."
