Let's Fight to help the homeless

I was homeless for almost 2 years. Well while I was homeless I noticed there weren't many women shelters n there weren't many places that gave food to the homeless... I remember looking in trash cans, going to ball parks n waiting for a kid to put a drink or snack down n walk away then id quickly take it n run n be enjoying just having a few sips of water or soda n having just a few chips or candy so I could get through the cold nights. I think we should have more shelters for both genders n especially more shelters for couples!!! U shouldn't have to separate every damn time or worry ur partner is out on the street cold Bec they couldn't find shelter... I also think we should start having more soup kitchens like come on back in the day churches fed the homeless what happened? No one cares about the homeless...but not everyone did something to be out there sum ppl are kids, runaways, mentally disabled, marines, military, army, sum are just unfortunate women who found the wrong guy n then had no where to go from leaving a abusive relationship. Everyone has a story u never know what's hiding behind those pitiful...sad lonely eyes!.... PLZ LETS BAND TOGETHER TO HELP THEM. Who knows one day it could be u out there on the street especially nowadays with the inflation....anyone can wind up there!
