Homeless camp on Peninsula Crossing Trail

The homeless camp on the Peninsula Crossing Trail is an ever-increasing threat to public health and safety. The city has made minimal effort to assist the permanent or houseless persons impacted. The city council has ignored requests for support. The University Park Neighborhood Association requests each member of the city council to visit the camp on Saturday, June 27, and by July 3rd develop a plan, in collaboration with residents (permanent and campers), to remediate the negative public health and safety factors.
