The rivers and waterways of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area are under threat.
Despite the pristine wilderness of the area, the discharge of a local coal mine, the Clarence Colliery is polluting the water and having a devastating effect on the precious ecosystem of the area, which supports a variety of wildlife, including koalas, platypuses, echidnas, quolls and wombats.
Save the Blue Mountains Rivers is a community of concerned citizens determined to bring awareness to the public and to bring Clarence Colliery to account.
