The current sheriff, Chad Partin, has ceased patrol in Lakewood Park, we are taxpayers, and have the right to be protected by our local sheriff's department, just like everyone else in Coffee County. Our votes got him elected in, and he even stated " I WORK FOR THEM", well if he wants to continue working for the residents of Coffee County, he needs to kick into high gear and get more patrol in Lakewood Park, we are needing more help than ever, and his great idea is to take protection away. I have spoken with one of the Sheriff's deputies, and it has come to my attention, that it is Lakewood Park's TRUSTEES, who haven't been voted in, that is causing this issue, and we the people of LAKEWOOD PARK FEEL WE DESERVE THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT'S PROTECTION. Our schools will be out soon and the citizens of Lakewood Park with the drug problem feel our kids need this patrol to protect them and our older residents. The TRUSTEES tell the residents that the Tennessee Highway Patrol has been brought in to control the drug problem.
It is our right to be served and protected by our local law enforcement officials. WE ARE ASKING ALL RESIDENTS OF LAKEWOOD PARK TO PLEASE SUPPORT THIS PETITION AND TAKE OUR COMMUNITY BACK.
