The NBA & Turner Network Should Fire Charles Barkley
- by: Phil Varlese
- recipient: The National Basketball Association and The Turner Network
Recently Charles Barkley, working as a color analyst for the NBA playoffs, ridiculed the size & weight of women in San Antonio on a recent broadcast. His comments can be viewed here.

He has been challenged by several groups as called on to apologize for his comments, but has refused to do so. See his refusal here.

If the NBA can remove Donald Sterling as owner of the LA Clippers for making racist comments that insulted almost half of the US population as he did, why can’t the NBA force the Turner Network to remove Barkley as NBA color analyst, since he insulted almost two thirds of the American population (since it’s estimated that 66% of Americans are considered overweight or obese)?
Please sign this petition, and let's stop the body judgment, especially in the media!

The signers of this position are requesting that the NBA and Turner Network take a similar course of action with Charles Barkley that was taken with Donald Sterling, which is, to remove him from his position. He should be fired for his comments.
