A man in Minnesota has been accused of animal torture after he strangled one of his puppies and broke her legs. People who knew the man
said they were afraid that the dog was "going to die from her injuries."

According to the witnesses, the man had recently acquired a new puppy, a female Great Dane/Mastiff.
Soon after the adoption, the man confessed to the witnesses that he had already broken one of her legs. But that would not be the end of the horrors he inflicted.
He began a pattern of throwing the dog from his back porch. When the puppy would scream in distress and fear, he would then wrap the dog inside a cushion so that others couldn't hear it yell, before recklessly throwing the animal inside again.
By the time authorities arrived at the man's house,
he had already broken a second leg on the puppy. In fact, he'd even done this in front of one of the witness's son!
At the time, the frightened and badly abused animal had peed somewhere the man didn't like, so he picked up the animal and threw her. She peed again shortly after. That time, the man held her down on the kitchen floor and began to strangle the puppy. When he was finished, she could barely walk and was "wobbly looking."
Officers on the scene tried to encourage the dog to get up and come to them. But the creature was so starved, they could see her spine and ribs through her skin, and she could not get up. The official complaint states: "The dog appeared to want to come to the officer but was unable to move." Officials brought the dog to a veterinarian, who confirmed the dog had two leg fractures, a head contusion, was malnourished, and suffered from "intervertebral disc disease."
This man's repetitive pattern of sadistic abuse must not be overlooked! Luckily, authorities have charged him with animal abuse and he is currently in custody. We must demand that they permanently ban this man from ever owning, living with, or working with animals in the future!
