Stop Developers From Tearing Down Playdium Lanes, Albany's Last Bowling Alley

Playdium Lanes on Ontario Street in Albany, NY, was opened in 1940. It is one of the oldest bowling alleys in the Capital District, and sits as the only bowling alley left in the city of Albany, as Sunset Lanes closed earlier this year. This concerns me as a bowler and as a resident of Albany. Although this is a rapidly expanding city, there are plenty of abandoned buildings and houses that can be torn down or renovated, so why tear down a building that should be a landmark for the city, and its last source of recreational bowling? This also concerns me on a personal note. It was the first place I ever bowled as a kid, as well as the place my family would go for bowling almost every Sunday. Please, help me save Playdium bowling center for the bowlers, the employees of Playdium, the city, and for future generations.
