Donald Trump managed to get through 10 minutes of his convention speech without hurling his own feces, and pundits are now hailing his "softer tone", and parroting the Republican line that this is the "new Trump", and we should just ignore the last 78 years.

For 4 excruciating years, we endured Trump as president—the worst one ever. And for decades prior to that, he proved he was a terrible person in so many ways.
