Obtaining biodiversity should NEVER be paid off with animal cruelty !!

The Danish Parliament is about to pass an amendment to the Danish animal protection law that would get fatal consequences for the animals that so far have been protected by this law. The main idea with the amendment is to exempt the State for surveillance with the animals on state property.

The Danish Government are planning 15 new National parks placed around the country. These so-called “Rewilding” projects are going to create wildlife nature habitats and improve biodiversity.
The tool to achieve this is among other things to fence in the appointed areas
and release into the “wild”, herbivorous animals such as cows and horses.
Subsequently these domesticated animals are named “wild animals” where after it can be claimed, that they have to live wild, must find food themselves all year round and do not need supervision and medication .

The Danish State has already started practicing on this approach to their animal husbandry in the area of Mols in Jutland. The pictures dated March 2021 are showing “wild" animals behind fence in the custody of “Naturstyrelsen Kronjylland”. 4 dead cattle with calves and 2 dead steers already. 8 cattle have aborted.
This horrible scenario has been reported to the police.
But the same person responsible is going to be in charge of the next Rewilding project, at Fussingø, near the city of Randers.
The plan is to convert beautiful and well-attended forest area into fenced in
nature inhabited by domesticated livestock – now referred to as wild cattle and wild horses.

Please help us to tell the Danish Minister for the Environment, Lea Wermelin, and member of the parliament for the Social Democrats, Mette Gjerskov, environmental spokesman that it is highly reprehensible to change the Danish animal protection law in the favor of the State (and not the animals) in order to save money on this fixed idea.

Please tell the Danish Minister that we will not accept that tax payers money are spend on establishing National parks where animals are mistreated behind fence. Starving to death and/or forced to eat poisonous plants.
If this amendment of the law is adopted it will exempt
the state from complying with the Animal Welfare Act. A law that anyone else must abide by ! Please sign to help the animals caught in these "modern" projects !
