Dangerous roadworks in Moate, Westmeath, Ireland

Roadworks that are currently underway outside Barts newsagents in Moate have reduced the width of the road to such a point it is impossible for two large vehicles to pass in opposite directions safely. Also it is impossible to join the main road from the Clara direction without having to cross over onto oncoming traffic.

This petition requests a professional evaluation of the dangers being introduced by these ongoing works and for remedial work to begin immediately to resolve the issues highlighted
