Please join our community in signing this petition to encourage the moving of the location of Round Rock Refuse to a facility outside of our residential area.
Reckless driving and air quality abuse (swealtering garbage, garbage cans, clouds of dust) of Round Rock Refuse on our local homeowners, businesses, and overall community is forcing the community to suffer the health consequences and lower quality of life caused by Round Rock Refuse.
Trash trucks come to the center still full of trash, spreading fumes, and dropping litter across our property, enhancing a risk of trash fires spontaneously combusting.
Residents of Blessing Community and local businesses on Martin Avenue off of CR-172 are in daily danger of speeding trash truck drivers, recklessley driving past our homes, offices, playgrounds, and sidewalks. From our office at 1102 Martin Avenue, we daily witness the danger that trash truck drivers pose to our residents. Driving dangerously fast and close to our cars, families, and local children.
For residents who have asthma and respiratory disease. Trash Collection facilities belong outside of the city where they aren't harming or lowering the quality of life, or risking the lives of others, especially children who frequent the play scapes and sidewalks that trash truck drivers speed down at a speed triple or quadruple the speed limit in massive 10 foot tall trucks.
