Give Us Back Our KCBI

This Petition is simply to allow the Board of First Dallas Media and the Management Staff at KCBI to hear us, The Listeners, of a Listener Supported Radio Station, saying we want our KCBI Back. For over 36 years, KCBI has been a Beacon of Light for Jesus Christ. Now they would prefer it to be more of a business than a Ministry. It is time for our voices to be heard! We want our KCBI to continue to stand for God's Truth with no compromise. Several of the long time KCBI staff including, Mike Tirone, Jim Wilson and Terri Barrett have been pushed out the door without even being given the chance to say goodbye to their listeners. All because they refused to compromise their stance on what God was doing in and through KCBI.
While our intent of this petition is Bold, we don't wish to harm any of the remaining or new KCBI staff in any way. We simply want the man in charge of all these changes to step down and to allow us as the Listeners to continue to have a say in what is important to us... and that is for God to continue to use KCBI to spread the message of Hope and Love that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
Over the last few months and especially the last few weeks, you have noticed changes to KCBI and it's staff. These changes include the letting go of key staff members and host that we have all come to love and adore. These people include, Mike Tirone, Jim Wilson and Terri Barrett.
I am sure, like me, that most of you who listen to KCBI, listen because it is different. It is different in many aspects, but the main one being that it stands for God's Word and Truth. It does not compromise and buckle to the pressures of this world and it's views. For over 35 years, God has blessed that obedience and has used it to transform countless lives. But now all that is being pushed to the side for a worldly business view. That view has come to pass in many different areas with this station, but the most note worthy, pushing God Fearing, obedient people out the door, simply becasue the refuse to compromise their beliefs in both what they stand for and what God has called this station to be... and that is a ray of Light into a very dark world.
As a listener supported radio station, we should have a voice! And it is time that this voice is heard... loud and clear. I want my KCBI back. I don't want another worldy or even an ordinary Christian Radio Station,
