Demand local authorities to appropriate financial funds for humane trappings of stray cats in our communities and enforce TNR, Trap-Neuter-Return

I have seen stray cats many cats many times, usually in groups, mama cats & her kittens, who grow up in the same situation as their parents. It's a very pitiful & sad situation. Although they're sometimes fed & given water by kind-hearted people who pass them by, the cycle of cats overpopulation continues because no one seem to make the effort to save them or at least stop their continued increasing number. I had contacted shelters regarding this. I was told that in order for the shelters/animal controls to pick up stray cats, they need to either be in boxes, carriers, or any other covered container. I've seen on the Internet these trappers which attract cats to go inside by placing food there & a door closes safely behind them. For a group of cats, it will require several of these carriers. I am very concerned for the safety of these poor, helpless cats who have to live out there, exposed to the elements at any time but particularly when it's raining, very cold, and very hot. Saving these cats involve the purchase of carriers and other needed expenses. By signing this petition, we can request local officials to implement rescues of these stray cats everywhere.
