The slaughtering in overseas slaughter houses is deliberately cruel and inhumane and animals deserve more respect and standards of required slaughtering methods. To slaughter animals here in Australia with approved standard design and a fully equipped slaughter houses. Exported meat will create employment, and will also reduce the amount of deaths to animals because of low standard and poor designed vessels that transport these animals to overseas that incur sickness and injury and most of the time results in the animals been put down. Will also STOP the inhumane suffering treatment that animals receive on arrival for culture festivals and in the slaughter houses with uneducated handlers. To ban the live trade and to move to more onshore processing boxed or frozen meat exports would be a confidence change for farmers and the people of Australia.
