Save Bulls from Being Torn Apart Piece by Piece!

Ukweshwama is a Zulu festival that takes place every year to celebrate the new harvest in South Africa. But, despite its celebratory nature, the festival takes a turn for the worse when it begins "the slaying of the bull." This ritual involves 40 Zulu warriors descending on a helpless bull and killing it with their bare hands.

Warriors push sand and mud down the bull's throat, gouge out its eyes and twist its genitals. They then beat and kick the bull as it experiences a slow and painful death.

This year, another bull will be killed in the same fashion. This ritual is extremely inhumane and should be abolished immediately. Save bulls from this devastating fate and urge the National Heritage Council of South Africa to abolish this ritual!
Dear Mr. Sonwabile Mancotywa,

The "slaying of the bull" ritual that takes place annually during Ukweshwama has gone on for far too long. The festival, which celebrates the new harvest, does not need to involve slaying bulls in such a brutal fashion.

Every year one bull is subjected to 40 Zulu warriors who push sand and mud down its throat, gouge out its eyes and twist its genitals. They then beat and kick the animal to death.

This horrifying ritual is completely inhumane and should be abolished immediately. Please save any more bulls from being murdered this way. I urge you to abolish this ritual from Ukweshwama.
