Dear IOC,
We, Koreans, ask for the right action and solution to the IOC regarding Mr. Ramo commentaries. The IOC asked to use the Korean Unification Flag without Dokdo because of political reasons between Japan. Korea followed your recommendation to not include Dokdo.
NBC's comment by Joshua Cooper Ramo reflects his political stance. His job relates to a politician's. He is a vice chairman and co-chief executive of Kissinger Associates, the consulting firm of former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. Mr. Ramo is a member of the 2002 Class of Henry Crown Fellows with the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute which is a Japanese funded Institute.
The following comments were made by Joshua Cooper Ramo, "Are these teams taking the first steps down a new and peaceful path, or is this the very last image of fellowship and hope before tragedy strikes the people of this peninsula? Hundreds and thousands, maybe millions of lives are at stake."
Does he expect a Korean war?
We, Koreans, cannot tolerate these kind of POLITICAL curses. Mr. Ramo is a Japanese sided person with opinions.
The Korean government carried out IOC's recommendations and requirements. Therefore, we believe that IOC should take a step against Mr. Ramo STOP commenting FOREVER AT ANY OLYMPICS. If the IOC does not act on this issue, we will consider that the IOC agrees with Mr. Ramo.
Sincerely,
The Republic of Korea
